Residents of Banswara will remember Neeraj K. Pawan, the first divisional commissioner
Neeraj K. Pawan produced original pieces that served as models. The vibrant young IAS officer Neeraj K. Pawan was selected as the first divisional commissioner by the state government, which he fulfilled, and Banswara was designated as the divisional headquarters. Pawan's efforts have been rewarded by the new government, which has sent him to the Jaipur headquarters as requested. The residents of Banswara will remember Pawan for a very long time because of the several exceptional things he accomplished during his time serving as the city's first divisional commissioner.
Neeraj
was a transformational hero
During his
first tenure, Pawan worked to set up the divisional headquarters, and his work
quickly picked up speed when the new administration took office. Since his
arrival brought a wave of change to the city and district that transformed many
people's hopes, Pawan's name was on everyone's tongue in every town, hamlet,
locality, and street in the city.
Perhaps not
everyone initially supported Pawan's anti-encroachment policies. However, his
perseverance eventually silenced his doubters. In addition to working to build
Banswara, he also showed that any difficult task can be completed with the
right focus and perseverance, whether it was the wall of Mahi Colony or the
road leading to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital.
Formalities
might easily take up an officer's tenure. Cutting ribbons, giving orders during
meetings, being the main guest, and eventually saying goodbye. This could have
been the simplest method for him to fulfill his duties. Pawan chose a path,
nonetheless, that not many were prepared to follow. He proved that even the
impossible is possible when an officer sees his job as a personal
responsibility by fighting the sun's heat, strolling the streets, and hearing
about the struggles of the people in the villages.
Pawan is
the author of several notable publications
Along with
fighting to eradicate encroachments in villages, towns, and cities across the
Banswara division, Pawan accomplished some noteworthy initiatives during his
tenure. In addition to boosting the district's pride by erecting sign boards at
strategic locations along the Tropic of Cancer in the Vagad region—which boasts
a unique geographic location on the Tropic of Cancer—Pawan also first organized
Cancer Sankranti on his initiative, drawing national and international
attention to Banswara.
Pawan looked
into tourism development potential in each of the division's districts and set
up correspondence to give them concrete form in addition to creating an action
plan for the Mahi islands' tourism growth. Pawan showed his commitment to
progress by taking several important steps to make Banswara seem better. In his
capacity as divisional commissioner, he conducted collector investigations into
some government entities to enhance working conditions. The President
arranged a unique chat engagement with indigenous women while he was there.
The
projects that are still incomplete after Pawan's efforts
1. Closing
down the Kagadi Canal as it goes by the hospital.
2. Restoring
the cabins at the far end of the collectorate road that leads to the Mahatma
Gandhi Hospital and expanding it with concrete to improve traffic flow.
3. Linking
the major road in Dungarpur with the housing road in Shastri Nagar.
4. Making
Banswara a popular travel location.
5. Patching
potholes and deteriorating municipal roads with asphalt to remove dust and
dirt.
6. Making
public areas cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing to elevate Banswara to the
forefront of cleanliness.
